the walls are crumbling, the kids are loud, the laundry is piling up and the dust is getting thicker but the blessings are bountiful and happiness is winning the war.
They say a man's house is his castle, well for a woman it's a kingdom. We are in charge of shining the armor, feeding the battalion, oiling the drawbridge, banging the tapestries, emptying the chamber pots and driving the carriage. Not to mention we must look great while doing it. In this kingdom there are war days and there are peace days, but not matter what kind of day it is, it is full of blessings and lots and lots of photography.
Jason and I have been married for 20 years and have had a great time building our kingdom. We have four beautiful children that we share the kingdom with as well as one very large goldendoodle named Pilgrim. We love our life and are grateful everyday for the blessings we enjoy in our kingdom. If you are ever in the area please stop by and visit.

Virginia Wild Safari Park
Wow what an experience this was... the kids had a great time after they got past their fear of the animals. The camels were so funny... they actually eat about 200 of the feeding buckets a day... the buckets are non-toxic so they don't make them sick but I can't imagine the stomachs of steel they must have to digest a plastic bucket. The elk were the gentlest of the giants putting very little pressure on the bucket and being very kind. The ostriches were the craziest of the bunch... not only the look in their eye but the smack smack of the beak in the bucket. We went through twice and by the time we got to the end of the second time all of the kids had held a bucket and feed a large animal. The zebras were very funny... we weren't allowed to feed them but they didn't agree with those rules they tried to keep us from rolling the window down. All in all it was a great experience and we had a wonderful time.
