About Me

My photo
They say a man's house is his castle, well for a woman it's a kingdom. We are in charge of shining the armor, feeding the battalion, oiling the drawbridge, banging the tapestries, emptying the chamber pots and driving the carriage. Not to mention we must look great while doing it. In this kingdom there are war days and there are peace days, but not matter what kind of day it is, it is full of blessings and lots and lots of photography.

Jason and I have been married for 20 years and have had a great time building our kingdom. We have four beautiful children that we share the kingdom with as well as one very large goldendoodle named Pilgrim. We love our life and are grateful everyday for the blessings we enjoy in our kingdom. If you are ever in the area please stop by and visit.

Christmas 2008

What a year it has been! So much to be grateful for on this day as I reflect on what this day really means. I am so grateful for a fabulous family, wonderful friends and all the things that come with it. It was such a joy to see the kids reaction to the newest member of our family. We had been talking about getting a dog for many months... I kept putting it off for one reason or another and then it just seemed to fit... the lady called to tell us the pair of dogs we wanted a litter from were expecting and were we still interested. We talked for day and decided that this would be a great Christmas present for the kids. When Santa came bounding through the door Jadi squealed with delight and all the rest of them were like for us... REALLY! Jadi latter said, "this is the best Christmas ever, even if I don't get anything tomorrow that would be okay", that made it all worth what I knew was to come. It will be a joy to watch him grow up with the kids... I am sure he will become an important part of our family. We named him Pilgrim... for many reasons that I can think of... mostly because we like it and secondly because this is new territory for us and we will embark on this journey together. I am sure there will be many posts starring Pilgrim. Merry Christmas to all.

i'm so not a pet person but that little puppy is just too adorable.

tell santa he needs to dye his eyebrows to match his hair...they look strangely familiar.

It is great to see everyone having so much fun with the puppy. I love the name, WELL PILGRIM, sounds like John Wayne Country to me.
