About Me

My photo
They say a man's house is his castle, well for a woman it's a kingdom. We are in charge of shining the armor, feeding the battalion, oiling the drawbridge, banging the tapestries, emptying the chamber pots and driving the carriage. Not to mention we must look great while doing it. In this kingdom there are war days and there are peace days, but not matter what kind of day it is, it is full of blessings and lots and lots of photography.

Jason and I have been married for 20 years and have had a great time building our kingdom. We have four beautiful children that we share the kingdom with as well as one very large goldendoodle named Pilgrim. We love our life and are grateful everyday for the blessings we enjoy in our kingdom. If you are ever in the area please stop by and visit.

Christmas Day

This year we were so blessed to have both our mothers with us for Christmas morning. My mom has been with a for a few years but we have never had the company of Jason's mom. The kids were so excited to have them here.

Koleson this year was a delight. He was really into the whole Christmas thing and was very concerned about making sure we did all the right things for Santa to come. We put out the reindeer dust and left cookies and milk for Santa.

Santa even left a little surprise for the boys. He made sure they couldn't sneak downstairs in the night to peek.

They made quick work of Santa's trap. They were all ready to make a dash for the family room but I made them sit for a picture or two.

I didn't make them wait any longer. Right after this they dashed to the family room, rounded the corner and tore into Santa's gifts.

Pilgrim was first and he was very pleased with what Santa left him. In fact he loved on the thing all day. It was sopping wet and he took it with him everywhere. As I am typing he is asleep on the kitchen floor with his little crocodile friend. I think it's true love.

We so enjoyed gathering with family and making a day of opening gifts and eating things we shouldn't. I guess now it's time to start the diet and get back to a normal routine.
